Sportsman’s Groin is a common cause of groin pain in athletes. The pain comes from a weakening or slight tearing of part of the low abdominal wall. Sometimes it can produce referred pain down into the upper thigh or inner thigh.

Pubic symphysis problems are also relatively common in pregnancy and sometimes also occur in sportspeople, in both cases because the area is placed under exceptional load. Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction in pregnancy is always related to Sacroiliac Joint problems.
